It's clear that by equipping a strong turret , using very few units only to defend close to your base and using the "special" often you give the opponent no chance to build up money or experience.
However despite that the computer continues to push units and evolve. Apparently the computer plays a different game from you, making playing strategically useless.
Also it's pretty impossible to win in the early stages of the game, so you're forced to go through the whole evolution thing. Defense is overpowered.
I like the idea a lot but there are some flaws that prevented me from enjoying this game fully.
Amazing engine dude. The texture in high-q mode shaked a little but on low-q was great. For the rest, fantastic terrain engine, cool AI, great animations. This is going to be a blast.
You should see how the engine is now. I have made everything alot better and there are no bugs. detailed enviroments, bullet trails, bullets make bubbles in water, screen shaking from explosions/ when players hurt, rocket launcher, smg, mg, pistol, shotgun, loads new enemies using all weapons, new gameplay, weapon buying system, new enviroments with different charecteristics and enemies.. lots of other cool things. remember to let me know if theres anything else you want to see in the game.
Only 9 fights :(
This game is pretty cool, there is a way to "invest" points that leads you to win all 9 battles very easily. (not giving out how though)
I was very pissed off there were only 9 battles, I though it was a bug, tried again, and again it quit at the 9th (played the game on another website so did not read the description)
This game is ultimately incomplete.

Newgrounds is for independent artists to show off their creations, not for big corporations to exploit.
Your robot model is awesome! It also makes it look much more realistic than a girl, since it's rigid.
It's ok but...
Runs a bit choppy for me (maybe 15-20 frames per second?). Also the standard shot goes too slow.
well i had a problem with FireFox and IE running the games with different speeds. so i made the game load a sound clip and stream it to keep the game at 35 fps all the time. what flash does is to skip some frames to keep up the speed. possible reason to you problem is that you ran the game on a bit slow computer and flashplayer couldn't keep up the speed so it had to skip a lot of frames. I am sorry about this but its needed to make FireFox and other browsers to work at same fps rate

What's wrong with this game:
The really bad thing of this game is that it does not respect gravity rules. When the guy falls (or jumps) he falls at constant speed, while he should fall in a uniformly accelerated way (as all objects)!!
This by itself gives the game a bad, "very wrong" feeling. It's an easy fix, you should do this. (every frame you put boy.yv+=gravity and boy.y+=boy.yv).
As it is now, he's just going up (at constant speed) for some seconds, then (more or less gradually) starts going down at constant speed!
I believe just fixing this will make the game much much better.
Another thing is that the character is ugly.
Then yeah, it's a also a ripoff from Johan Peitz's game, but if it was as good nobody would complaint.
actually, I know the physics of friction, gravity, and all those when I made this game, and the code is written exactly as such, and on one frame.

This game is fabulous, as far as I know it's the first one with this idea. Wonderful implementation of a great idea.
...is fun. Maybe even better than the first. But then also the first was fun.
The first one had a more retro feel since it didn't have scrolling...
In this one if you go close to an angle of the field your view is very limited...
I'd say it's ?2 times as good as Neon :P
